The 17th Century barn at Felin Puleston was donated to the National Trust by Mr Warburton Lee in 1977.
It was dismantled and moved from Redbrook Maelor near Whitchurch, and re-erected at Erddig.
The barn is thought to have been the meeting place for secret religious services during the reign of Charles I.
It is made of hard ships wood and every beam was morticed and pegged together.
Youths working on a job recreation scheme helped experts in rebuilding the barn. The aim was to use the barn as an agricultural museum.
