For this walk head south down Erddig Road. Pass the Cup & Saucer (on your right) and go over the cattle grid on the road.

Follow the road until it starts to climb and there will be a gate into the field on the right. There are often horses in the field here so dogs should go onto a lead.

Follow the path alongside the leat and across the field to a kissing gate in the corner. This field can be very muddy.

Go through the gate and follow the path up a hill to the road near a lodge. The lodge allows its chickens to run free so again dogs on leads.

Go through the kissing gate on the opposite side of the road and then follow the old roadway towards the hall where you can get back onto Erddig Road again.
